Neuroplasticity - what it is and why it matters

Updated: May 5, 2023

We used to think you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks. But since brain scanning and neuroscience has advanced, we now know that anyone can learn new things or change the way they think at any time.

This great little video explains how:

Coaching really helps with developing new connections and pathways in your brain. During your coaching sessions you will set goals and intentions and identify the changes that you want to make in your life. This might be in your career, your home life or even your health and wellbeing (for may of my clients it is a mix of all three).

Once you've identified the changes you want to make, we explore what thoughts, tactics and habits would support those changes. Using those to create the action plan which takes you from where you are right now, to where you want to be.

There is always some time in between sessions for you to practice the new thoughts, behaviours and habits. To create and strengthen those new neural pathways in your brain.

Which new habits would you like to create this year?

are there any old habits you would like to ditch?
